Following the 1995 triumph, India had to wait for 15 years to claim the Asia Cup for a fifth time. Sri Lanka hosted the tournament in 2010, with India, Pakistan and Bangladesh being the other three teams.

India’s fourth victory in the Asia Cup came in the 1995 edition that was held in UAE, Sharjah. Four teams took part in the event – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

India’s third Asia Cup win came in the 1990-91 edition held in India. This was India’ second consecutive Asia Cup triumph following the victory in 1988 and their third overall.

India won their second Asia Cup title in 1988. The event was held in Bangladesh with four teams taking part – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
